概述

密度是质量与体积之比:

ρ=mV\rho = \frac{m}{V}

其中 ρ\rho 为密度,mm 为质量,VV 为体积。密度常用单位有 g/cm^3kg/m^3lb/ft^3sl/ft^3

纯水在 4 °C(39.2 °F) 时密度最大,约为 1000 kg/m^31.940 slug/ft^3。高于此温度后,水膨胀导致密度下降。

重度是重量与体积之比:

γ=mgV=ρg\gamma = \frac{m g}{V} = \rho g

其中 γ\gamma 为重度,gg 为重力加速度。标准重力通常取 9.80665 m/s^232.17405 ft/s^2

工程要点

  • 密度-温度关系不是线性的,因此体积膨胀系数在整个温度范围内不是常数。
  • 水在 4 °C 附近密度最大。这一异常现象在流体静力学、自然对流、防冻和储罐计算中很重要。
  • 在正常沸点以上,1 atm 表格不再是常压下的液态水数据;原始来源在饱和压力下报告这些数值。
  • 压力会增加液态水密度。压力图和高压表格显示了 1 atm(或饱和)、1000 psi 和 10000 psi 之间的差异。
  • 在美制常用表中,标准重力下 lbm/ft^3lbf/ft^3 数值相近,但密度和重度是不同物理量。
