Visão Geral

A NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) padroniza as dimensões da caixa dos motores para garantir a intercambiabilidade entre fabricantes. O padrão NEMA de 1984 define as principais dimensões mecânicas para montagem e interfaces do eixo. Os números da caixa (42, 48, 56, 140T, etc.) codificam a altura aproximada do eixo e o tamanho da caixa. Sufixos como C (montagem face C), H (espaçamento maior dos furos de montagem) e J/P (eixo para bomba de jato) indicam variantes de montagem ou eixo.

  • Sufixo C-face: Quadros terminados em C (por exemplo, 48C, 56C) indicam um padrão de montagem C-face (acoplamento direto). A dimensão 2F normalmente não é especificada porque motores C-face são montados pela sua face em vez de uma base.
  • Sufixo H: Motores com a designação H têm um padrão de montagem 2F mais amplo do que seu quadro base, acomodando bases de montagem maiores.
  • Sufixo T (140T, 143T): Indica uma designação "T-frame" introduzida em 1964 para substituir tamanhos de quadro mais antigos. T-frames são o padrão atual.
  • Sufixos J e P (56J, 143JM, 143JP): Denotam eixos de motor de bomba a jato com extremidades roscadas para fixação direta do impulsor.
  • Sufixo HZ (56HZ): Especifica um quadro com furos de montagem mais amplos e uma dimensão de eixo modificada.
