The fundamental formula for calculating the change in volume (ΔV\Delta V) of a solid due to a temperature change (ΔT\Delta T) is:

ΔV=V0βΔT\Delta V = V_0 \cdot \beta \cdot \Delta T

Where:

  • ΔV\Delta V is the change in volume.
